How to perform it

Sit tall, spine long, shoulders soft. Let your hands rest in your lap, or gently interlace the fingers behind the back of your head without gripping.

Slowly let the chin drop toward the chest, lengthening the back of the neck. If the hands are clasped, let only their weight rest there — no pulling. Breathe into the stretch across the base of the skull and the top of the spine, then float the head back up.
