Common mistakes
You let the lower back round and the chest cave, so you slump onto the tailbone.
You grip the neck and jaw as the core fatigues.
You straighten the legs at the cost of a collapsed spine.
What to focus on
Prioritize a tall, lifted chest balanced on the sit-bones — keep the knees bent until the spine can stay long.
Feel the work deep in the belly, not in the neck or shoulders.
Keep breathing evenly; a held breath is usually the first sign the pose has collapsed.
