Common mistakes
You keep quiet tension in the jaw, brow, and hands while the big muscles rest.
You continue to control or deepen the breath instead of letting it run on its own.
You fidget to adjust every few seconds, which resets the release each time.
What to focus on
Do one slow scan from feet to face, deliberately releasing the jaw, tongue, and the space between the eyebrows.
Let the floor carry your full weight, as if you could not lift a limb if you tried.
Simply watch the breath come and go — observing it, not steering it, is the whole practice here.
