Common mistakes
You press the foot directly against the side of the knee joint.
You let the standing hip jut out sideways as the pelvis sinks into it.
You let the eyes wander, which is where most wobbles start.
What to focus on
Press the foot and the inner thigh into each other with equal force — that mutual pressure is the balance.
Fix your gaze on one still point at eye level and keep it there for the whole hold.
If you wobble, lower the foot to the calf or ankle and grow tall from there rather than fighting to stay high.
