Common mistakes
You take short choppy steps that keep all the load on the front of the knee instead of the whole leg.
You push off the back foot to stand up instead of driving through the front leg.
You let the torso pitch forward and wobble side to side instead of staying tall between steps.
What to focus on
Pause briefly at the bottom of each stride so momentum never does the work.
Think about pulling the floor toward you with the front heel as you rise.
Keep the hips square to the direction of travel rather than letting them rotate with each step.
